Any Baby Can is proud to offer consultation services to school districts with our highly qualified Autism Education Consultants. Our staff have performed consultations and training in multiple locations. Their role at the agency is to support families of individuals diagnosed with autism and their teachers.

Autism in the Community

A recent study by Autism Lifeline Links indicates that the number of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) living in our community is nearly 30,000. The likelihood of encountering a person with ASD or knowing someone who is related to an individual on the spectrum has become more commonplace.

Any Baby Can has proudly taken the lead to support local businesses, family attractions and first responders in developing an understanding and acceptance of people with autism. The community support provided by the Autism Services program customizes trainings specific to the community site and explains the nature of autism and how autism impacts the daily life of the individual and their family. The training also includes interaction tips that enhance and support the individual’s experience in that setting. Our training staff consists of veteran autism consultants with extensive credentials in the area of behavior management, social skills and functional communication. For local day cares and other educational settings, our community support includes information on how to promote active student engagement and educational progress.

Consultant Services

Our Autism Consultants are available for contracting to school districts to provide support to general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals and other district team members who instruct students with autism. Our team is able to provide hands-on support using evidenced based strategies and supports to build skills and positive behaviors.
