Long-Term Volunteer

Fill out the brief volunteer interest form on GivePulse and schedule a 15-minute virtual introduction meeting with a member of our community engagement team to help match you with the right opportunities.

Want to elevate your experience? Join a team! Each team will have access to specialized opportunities once training and background checks are completed.

Possible teams include:

  • Childcare - providing fun and safe childcare while their caregivers enjoy classes and other events
  • Outreach - Share the news of ABC with families at community events.
  • Gratitude - Call and write to our generous supporters and thank them for their impact
  • Event Planning - Create memorable events for our families from Boo Bash to our Client Holiday Party
  • Data Support - Ensure our decisions are data driven and collect surveys from recently served families.
  • Gardening - Maintain the beauty of our lawns and grief garden to create a welcoming environment for all

Group Volunteers

Want to make a big impact with a team? We offer volunteer group opportunities! Join us for our events and large projects to make a difference as a team.

Who can schedule a group opportunity?

  • Groups of 5 and larger
  • Schools, organizations, businesses, churches, etc.
  • One adult for every 5 volunteers 11 to 13 years of age

How to Schedule:

  • Must be scheduled minimum of 3 weeks in advance
  • Reach out to Percy De La Luna at pdeluna@abcsa.org to set up a planning meeting
    • Meetings will finalize logistics on date, times, project needs, etc.
