One in 44 children nationwide will be diagnosed with autism this year. In Bexar and surrounding counties, over 30,000 individuals are living with autism. That means that you or someone you know has a close connection to a child or individual who lives with autism and whose daily lives are challenged by this diagnosis.
Founded in 2003 with 200 participants, the ABC of Southwest Texas Walk for Autism has grown into an official Fiesta® event bringing together over 10,000 participants and community partners from San Antonio, Bexar County, and South Texas to provide services and support for families raising individuals on the spectrum. All proceeds stay local to fund critical, one-of-a kind programs at ABC of Southwest Texas.

Equipping caregivers with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to advocate for their children at home, in school, and in the community.
We provide comprehensive navigation support for families experiencing the unimaginable loss of a child. Our services are available at no cost to eligible families in Bexar County and 17 surrounding counties.
Walking alongside families to connect them to therapies, resources, and long-term supports, so no family has to navigate systems alone.

ABC of Southwest Texas and hired photographers will be recording live video and photography at the Walk. By your presence, you irrevocably consent and authorize to being photographed, filmed and/or otherwise documented or recorded in other manners. With your entry, you hereby grant ABC of Southwest Texas and Beyond Memory exclusive worldwide rights for any use of any and all provided original video, imagery, or literary works in any and all media whether now existing or hereafter developed.
This includes, but is not limited to, your appearance, voice and name. All such media shall be sole property of the respective aforementioned and you release ABC of Southwest Texas and Beyond Memory, their successors, assigns and licensees, from any and all liability on account of such usage.
